I've been on an Over The Edge hiatus for most of the year, between playtesting 4E D&D and half of my OTE group moving away. Tonight I finally got that going again, and I'm really enjoying it. I'm having a great time with my 4E games, but OTE is both a great system and very different from fantasy (Eberron or otherwise). The scenario in question involved the PCs being trapped in a Twilight Zone-ish bar, emerging into strange (and dangerous) television-influenced scenarios whenever they tried to leave... so instead of dealing with orcs and goblins, they had to survive Tribal Council, get a comatose comrade through a distorted episode of House, and ultimately face a demon prince and his army of... Mister Ts. (Imagine a horde of Ts shouting in unison: "My prediction? Pain!")
In other news, I'm going on a trip on short notice, to help a friend move from Michigan to Alaska by car. As a result, I'm going to be off LJ and the internet for at least a week, so no Eberron updates for a while. I hope things are going well for all of you!
